Bar Harbor Brass Week is an intensive educational and performance experience for select college and high school brass musicians, sponsored by the Mark Woolman Horner Music Education Fund.

A small group of high school, college, and pre-professional participants will be selected to form brass choirs and chamber ensembles to prepare for performances in Bar Harbor. Daily activities will include rehearsals, coachings, masterclasses, and private lessons--all led by a prestigious faculty of many of the finest brass musicians and educators in the country.

All of this takes place on the campus of the College of the Atlantic in Bar Harbor, Maine. Bar Harbor is one of the East Coast's most popular summer tourist destinations and lies adjacent to Acadia National Park on Mount Desert Island.
